We can’t wait to meet the artists of the future!
Family Saturdays are free, drop-in art experiences held on select Saturdays from 12–3 PM.
Designed for kids and grown-ups to enjoy together, each session offers a fresh, hands-on project led by professional teaching artists—drawing inspiration from artists, exhibitions, and cultural traditions.
No experience needed, just bring your imagination!
The Sarasota Children’s Art Museum’s STEAM Machine will join us on Select Saturdays for extra hands-on fun!
The STEAM Machine will feature playful, interactive activities inspired by Art Center Sarasota’s theme—inviting children and families to create, experiment, problem-solve, and discover how art and STEM come together in unexpected ways.
COLOR CARNIVAL

Come one, come all, to this colorful extravaganza! Join us this month to create bold paintings and prints, experiment with unexpected color combinations, and celebrate your vibrant creativity.
ENCHANTED OCTOBER

Welcome to Enchanted October, where magic is in the air and imagination runs wild! Craft mysterious, magical, and delightfully spooky creations inspired by the sights and surprises of the month.

Wander into the woods, where curious creatures and creative surprises await! Explore natural treasures as you create whimsical artwork inspired by the season.
GLOW FACTORY
December 5 & 12, 2026
Turn up the glow and light up your creativity! Experiment with light, color, and luminous effects as you create artwork that comes alive in the dark.
HEY TEENS — VOLUNTEER WITH FAMILY SATURDAYS
