 About the Artist Instructor:

imageJill Krasner: After earning a BFA from Douglas College, Jill Krasner began her professional career as a commercial artist in New York City. Eventually, a hunger to return to fine arts and crafts led Krasner to leave the corporate world to start “making art” a full-time endeavor. Krasner is committed to recycling and repurposing found materials in her art. In addition to Mixed Media Painting, she currently works in Mosaic Sculpture, Collage Assemblage and Altered Books.  Krasner teaches both adults and children in collage, altered books, mosaics, found object jewelry, beading, and felting.
