Workshop Policies

 

 

 


IMPORTANT: PROGRAM TITLES, FEES, DATES AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PLEASE ALWAYS CALL TO CONFIRM. New programs will be added as the season progresses. Please check our website or call for updates.

 
FEES AND DEPOSITS:
To reserve a place in a class or workshop, a 50% deposit is required upon registration. Full payment is due 30 days before program begins unless otherwise noted. Students using a credit card for deposits will automatically be charged the remaining balance to their credit card 7 days prior to the first day of the course.

 
ENROLLMENT: Upon receipt of enrollment form and payment you will receive a confirmation. Students are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.  If a program is full you may request to be added to a wait list and will be notified if a space becomes available. Supply lists are posted on the ACS website. A copy may also be picked up at the Art Center or mailed via USPS upon request.

 
REFUNDS (WITHDRAWAL): Refunds are given only by providing written notice of withdrawal 30 DAYS prior to start of program, in which case fees will be refunded less a $35 processing fee. If notice is given less than 30 days, fees will not be refunded. ACS has binding contracts with instructors based on enrollment numbers.


REFUNDS (CANCELLATION):
If a program is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, all fees will be refunded. Be sure to provide your contact information on registration form.

 
SINGLE SESSIONS:
Signing up for single sessions (as opposed to the full course) is not a common practice at ACS and is permitted only at the discretion of the instructor. Students can either sign up for the full course (for the best value) or for any number of single daily sessions. The single session fee is slightly higher (20%) than the equivalent fraction of the full course fee.

 
LIFE SESSIONS
are Pay As You Go. Saturday morning sessions run continuously throughout the year. Please see listings for midweek evening dates. A discount card for 8 sessions may be purchased for $70. ABSOLUTELY NO photography is permitted during Life Sessions.
