MEET KATHRYN MORRILL
Textile Designer, Stylist, Educator
Kathy Morrill relocated to Florida from northern New Jersey in 2016. After multiple careers as a textile designer/stylist, free-lance designer and 29 years as an art educator Ms. Morrill now concentrates on her own fine art practice.
Additionally, she has embarked on a new aspect of art education—working primarily with adults.
Ms. Morrill’s work ranges from realistic/impressionistic renderings of florals, still lifes and landscapes to mixed media works and totally abstract paintings. Acrylic, oil and watercolor paints, colored pencil and watercolor pencil are among the various media that are employed in her fine art works.
Ms. Morrill received her BA in art education from Montclair State University in New Jersey and her Masters Degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.
